Government ($36.00) by Clarence Carson
In this course students
will learn the historical backdrop upon which the U.S. government was formed.
In addition, we will examine how the Constitution and U.S. government were
established and how they were intended to operate. Finally, we will consider
how our form of government has performed over time, and consider the impact of
judicial activism on constitutional government. The first day of class will be
September 7, 2007.
Economics
(Spring, designed for ½ credit)

Book: Basic Economics
($20.00) by Clarence Carson
This course will provide
a thorough grounding in the fundamental principles of economics and trace the
historical development of various political economies beginning with feudalism
as it was practiced in the Middle Ages. The first day of class will be January
11, 2008.
When:
Each class will meet weekly on Friday from 10:00 – 11:45.
Where: Classes
will meet at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Homewood.
Cost:
The charge for each course will be $250 per student. There will be a
non-refundable registration fee of $50. Tuition will be due the first day of
each course. Books can be purchased by checking the correct box below, and
enclosing purchase price.
